Maureen Ulrich
Though I grew up in Edmonton and Calgary, I now live near Lampman in southeast Saskatchewan. I am married with two adult daughters. For twenty-five years, I loved teaching ELA and Social Studies to junior high/senior high students. I retired from my teaching career in 2008, shortly after the release of Power Plays by Coteau Books. When I’m not writing, you will probably find me at Mosaic Stadium (watching the Roughriders!) or a hockey rink, or maybe on my motorcycle.
I acknowledge that I reside and work on Treaty 4 Territory: the original lands of the Cree, Ojibwe(OJIB-WĒ), Saulteaux (SO-TO), Dakota, Nakota, Lakota, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.
